Hajime and the Curse (Part 3)
Last part! Thank you for reading all the way through and I hope you enjoy this last chapter! It’s a little shorter and has a plethora of fluff. :3
Part 1
Part 2
2 years later
The house is huge; the floors creaking, giving away it’s age. It doesn’t seem like only two occupants should live here. Four rooms, yet half of them are empty.
Kinu is letting me stay here while attending high school. I’ve moved here just a week after I passed my entrance exams. Of course, there are plenty of schools in my area back at home. But attending the school Mom and Dad went to just felt right. When Mutsuki told me he was also planning on going there, my decision was made. At least next year, I’d be going to school with someone I know.
My room is completely empty save for a bed and nightstand. An echo hit the walls as I set my last box down. I left most of my things back at home, but I’ve taken the most important things with me. Books I’d need for school, pictures and my dad’s bracelet which Mom had given me. She had restrung the beads for me and insisted that I take them, even though Dad didn’t know. However, we both agreed that he’d love for me to wear them.
They’re sitting in the pocket of my duffel bag, waiting to be worn after sitting in dust for over a decade. I unzip the pocket and take out the bracelet, once again feeling the remnants of bone on my finger tips. I slip it onto my wrist and grin down at it.
I’d have to show Dad before they leave. They’re currently downstairs with Kinu so I shouldn’t keep them waiting. I stand, setting the duffel bag on the twin bed. This was my dad’s room when he lived here, which is why I chose it. At least I’d have a piece of him here. The air is musky, but it still smells like him somehow.
I make my way down the stairs, overhearing Mom chatting with Kinu in the foyer.
“He really likes salmon and oranges. He loves them especially together. And he tends to sleep in a lot so make sure he sets an alarm or wake him up if you can. Ah, and he likes it when you start the bath for him. His skin gets dry in the winter so after he bathes you might want to lather his back...” my mom says.
Figures. “What the hell?” I say, feeling the blush spread to my cheeks. “I told you I don’t need lotion anymore!”
Mom frowns. “But what if your skin gets flakey? I don’t want my baby to suffer.”
I swallow my retort and sigh instead. “I can lotion myself up. Kinu doesn’t have to do anything.” I side hug her as a way to show her that I’m not pissed. I’m just slightly embarrassed.
“You won’t have anything to worry about. I’ll take care of him like he’s my own kid,” Kinu says, fiddling with the end of her braid. “You know he’s like my little brother.”
“Thank you,” dad replies. He looks to me, his smile turning sad. “You wanna walk us out?”
I nod, holding my hands behind my back. I promised myself I wouldn’t cry. I refuse to. I especially can’t cry in front of Dad. My mom always encourages me to get emotional. She even says it’s healthy. Still, I’m not a baby anymore. I have to hold myself together.
Hachiro is sitting on the porch step with Hayami, my little sister, on his lap. He stands, holding her on his hip. “It’s time to go?”
“It’s time,” Dad replies. “Say goodbye to your brother.”
With a frown pulling at the corners of his mouth, Hachiro approaches me and hands me Hayami. Her arms that still hold her baby fat circle around my neck. I place my hand on her back with my arm supporting her bottom. I don’t want to let her go. She’s still only two years old. I’ll be missing out on watching her grow up. But it’s a sacrifice I have to make.
“Take care of yourself,” Hachiro says. “And if you manage to get a girlfriend at school, you better not hide it from us.”
With a shake of my head, I reply, “That won’t be happening any time soon.”
“It better not happen until after you graduate,” Dad calls while loading the car. How he could hear us all the way from the driveway, I don’t know.
I roll my eyes, guiding my attention back to my brother. “Take care of them,” I say, hugging him with Hayami squished between us.
Hachiro holds me. We hadn’t hugged like this since we were kids. It’s a feeling I didn’t know I missed until now. “I will.” He takes Hayami back into his arms and she whimpers, reaching out in my direction.
“Don’t worry. I’ll come visit on holidays,” I tell her, although she can still barely understand full sentences. I smile instead and she stops crying, now assured that everything was alright.
My parents rejoin me while Hachiro leaves to put Hayami in the car. This is the goodbye I’ve been dreading. I hate to admit it, but I really would miss them.
“This is it,” Mom starts, tears clinging to her eyes. “I didn’t think the day would come so soon.” She lurches forward and hugs me hard enough to crack my spine in two.
I gasp, but bear through it, holding her back. “Love you too,” I say with the little breath there is in me.
Dad is looking at my wrist. From the way his eyes go wide, I can tell he sees it. I let go of Mom and hold my wrist with the beads on it. “I hope you don’t mind. Mom said I should wear them and I wanted to.”
I can’t tell if he’s bothered by it are not. He only has a look of surprise for several seconds. Eventually, he takes my hand and gazes at the bracelet, a bittersweet expression forming. “But...why would you want to wear them?”
“Well...I want something that will make me remember you. Not only that...” I start, the confidence building inside me because it’s truly how I feel. “I don’t think they should just sit on the shelf forever. They should be worn...and remembered. They’re apart of your past and I want to respect that.” My gaze leaves my wrist and looks up at him.
His throat bobs as if he’s holding back a cry. His eyes soften and his grip on my hand tightens. All at once, he pulls me into an embrace with his arms firm around my back and torso.
I melt into his arms, the tears spilling from my eyes before I can stop them and staining his shirt sleeve. I hold him and hold him as if I’d never see him again. Mom joins us, hugging my backside so that I’m sandwiched between them. This love, this feeling, I don’t want to let it go even though I have to.
I cry harder and Dad runs his fingers through my hair. “We love you so much. Thank you. You’re going to make us proud.”
“That’s right!” Mom says and let’s go of me. “And we’ll see you during Christmas!”
I release myself from Dad and wipe my tears away, trying my best not to look like I just had a mini breakdown. “I can’t wait.”
As Dad pulls her away, she begins to sob, which leaves a pain in my chest. “We love you, baby boy.”
I wave, my lip quivering. “I love you.”
Dad chuckles as he pulls Mom away. It’s so her to get worked up like she never was going to see me again. I want to say I won’t cry a river tonight from being away from her, but I probably would. I always cried for her ever since I was a baby.
They pile into the car and Dad doesn’t stop smiling at me until they drive away. I hurry past the lawn to the roadway beside the forest where they fade off into the distance. It seems unreal. I’m without my family for the first time. I won’t see them each day, wake up to Mom cooking breakfast in the morning, and I won’t be able to tuck Hayami in for the night.
But that’s just what growing up is all about.
The end
~
[Wow is it satisfying to complete a fanfic after not writing one for years. This was so much fun. I really wanted to experiment with writing about Hajime and I’m pleased with how it turned out. I love him SO MUCH. I will defientely be writing more fics about him in the future. Thanks again for reading and I really hope you liked it! :))) ]

A/N: I love Inuyasha, I love Voltron. I love Lance. his is not very good, but I really wanted to write it~
This is episode 11 of the anime!
With his bicycle ready to go, Lance carefully looked around him, trying to spot any red in the middle of the green forest. He was alone, thankfully, no signs of the hothead nearby. With a short relieved sigh, he started pedaling with everything he had, which was a lot, mind you, in direction of the well.
Sadly, Lance didn’t have much luck.
“Wait a second, idiot!”
Lance was able to stop before he rolled over the boy, although a part of him told him he should have just rolled over that annoying dog. Said dog was standing there, looking like the angry bastard he was, violet eyes flashing with a temper.
“You’re going back to that weird world?! Are you trying to run away?! We have shit to do!”
“Oh, out of my way, mullet dog! I have exams to take and I can’t afford to miss them!”
The fact was that Lance had to keep his grades up if he wanted his Exchange Program to go on without any difficulties. He was already risking a lot by not attending class for so long, and maybe Mr. Shirogane was destroying his reputation with all the weird diseases he used as an excuse. Because life couldn’t be hard only in Feudal Era, no, it had to be hard in his world too.
“Well, fuck that! I’ll destroy this so you can’t run away anymore!” Keith—the half-dog—grabbed a large rock, ready to destroy the wooden well. Lance didn’t hesitate.
“Keith, sit!”
Keith stubbornness was no match for Lance’s consecutive commands of “sit”, the boy falling face first on the floor, the rock falling on top of him. He groaned, cursing Lance in between his groans of pain.
“Who said I’m running away, dog?! I’ll be back in three days! Stay here!”
With that, Lance was gone inside the well.
“Why didn’t you bring the dog man with you?”
“No way, that mullet head is impossible to deal with! It was a bother to even come here without him stopping me!” Shoving the last bit of food in his mouth, Lance huffed, “Talking about coming back, Mr. Shirogane, I am glad you worry so much, but can you not throw sake in my head next time?”
The old man only laughed heartily, petting the family cat, Black. Lance smiled softly, it was hard to be angry with the man. He reminded Lance of his own grandpa, all wise eyes and cheekily knowing smiles. Finishing his meal, Lance thanked Mrs. Shirogane, Mr. Shirogane’s daughter, for the food, messed Tsuna’s hair, Mrs. Shirogane’s son, washed his dishes and went to his room to put on his uniform.
It would be a long day at school.
At least his hair didn’t smell like sake anymore.
After a very embarrassing conversation with his friends about his really bad health, and an even more embarrassing encounter with who could be the cutest boy in school about his very poor health, Lance could say with absolute certainty he was done.
“You’re dating Inai?!”
“No.”
“I think he likes you!”
“I know, Taira.”
“Well? Don’t you want to date him?”
“I’m not really interested in dating right now.” It was a complete lie, of course. It is not that Lance didn’t want to date, it is because how could he explain to his boyfriend or girlfriend the reason they couldn’t go out in the next month it’s because he has to go back in time to collect pieces of a super powerful glass ball?
Yeah. No.
Ushijima Amari, Akagawa Taira and Yuhara Natsumi were three kind and funny girls that were glued at the hip even before Lance came in the picture. They had promptly welcomed Lance in their group, and he was forever grateful. He hated feeling like a fish outside water.
Staring at the honestly horrendous slippers Inai Hachiro gave him, Lance wondered if the boy was somehow related to Mr. Shirogane, remembering the old man’s weird medicines and whatnots.
“Could it be… that you are already dating someone?”
“No, no, no! Nope. Not dating. Single as they come.”
“Then, then! What’s your type?”
Lance sighed, knowing they wouldn’t shut up unless he gave them something to satiate their hunger for gossip. He loved the girls, but they could be pretty annoying when they wanted. Not as annoying as Keith, but almost.
“Someone who’s not violent or selfish… Also, someone accepting and affectionate.”
The complete opposite of Keith, go figure.
While Romelle prepared some herbal medicine for a sick villager, Keith grunted. Hot pain pierced his spine every time he tried to get up. That rock really did a number on him.
“Keith, stop laying around and go find information of the Jewel fragments.”
“Shut up, you old witch! Go eat some grass!”
Keith swore that day, laying on the floor of the old priestess’ house, that he would punch Lance in the face as soon as that boy came back from his world.
“Can I sleep here today?” Tsuna asked, interrupting Lance’s studies.
“Of course, if you don’t mind the lights being on.”
That day could, at the very least, be called weird. A sudden fire in one of the deposits, Mr. Shirogane getting hurt and being found passed out with sacred seals all over his face and even inside his mouth, then suddenly one of the firemen trucks taking off like a madman was driving it. As if it wasn’t enough, Mr. Shirogane had recovered the conscience for enough time to mutter some random words about the Meat Mask and how no one should touch it.
Lance surely didn’t blame the boy for not wanting to be alone.
“Something weird is happening, I think. Grandpa wouldn’t do something so weird.”
The older boy opened his mouth to agree, but the sudden noise made him change his plans. Grabbing the flask were he kept the Jewel fragments—it was an instinct to immediately search for them when something happened—, Lance threw himself on Tsuna, protecting him from pieces of what once was a wall.
The basket of a firetruck was struck inside his room, and from it came out something. A creature made of melted blackness, with no defined form. It seemed to leak away and yet gravitate towards its center, that center being a white mask in the middle of the blackness. Painted eyes stared at Lance, carved smile sending shivers down the boy’s spine. The creature’s voice came, smooth and monotone.
“The Jewel… give me… the Jewel…”
“A demon! In this time?” Lance thought, eyes widening, “Must be the jewel’s presence!” As soon as he reached that conclusion, the boy lifted Tsuna in his arms and ran. He had to get out of that house. He had to get Keith. He had no means to fight at the moment, dressed in his cotton pajamas and comfy slippers. He should’ve brought his bow.
He would do that if he survived to see a next time.
Lance did not stop running when the monster attacked, dogging to the best of his abilities. He was glad Mrs. Shirogane was visiting her father in the hospital, he really didn’t want to think what would’ve happened if she was. Stopping for a moment, he put Tsuna down. His bleeding hand-when had he cut himself?left a trail of blood on the boy’s shirt, but they didn’t have time to worry about it.
“Tsuna, I need you go to the well and get Keith.”
“And you?”
“I’ll distract it until Keith gets here. Please, Tsuna! Go get Keith!”
With that, Lance started to run in another direction, attracting the monster’s attention to him. All he could do was to hope for Keith to come quickly.
If anyone asked, Keith was not anxiously expecting Lance’s return while staring intently at the bottom of the well. He was not.
“How about of going after her instead of staring at the end of the well?”
“Shut up, stupid fox, isn’t it time for you to go to bed?”
“I’m just saying, you should go after her, you know, actually be productive?”
“Pidge, you have five seconds before I kick you back to where you came from.”
The damn fox just smirked, amused by the dog’s temper. Keith opened his mouth to growl out some insult when his nose picked up a familiar smell and his head snapped to look back at the bottom of the well. Pidge looked at him puzzled.
“I can smell… Lance’s blood.” Pidge widened her eyes, staring at what to her was just a normal well. Keith didn’t waste time, preparing to jump inside, “Pidge, go back to Granny Romelle, I’ll go find Lance,” Without giving her time to answer, he jumped.
“… That idiot is so in love with Lance.”
If anyone asked, Keith would admit being a bit surprised at finding the boy that Lance lived with crying while trying to open a hole in the well’s floor. Not sure how to deal with kids, Keith smiled cockily, hoping his show of self-confidence would somehow calm the boy down.
“What’s the matter? You seem troubled.”
In a few minutes, he was jumping from rooftop to rooftop, the boy on his back. He could smell Lance’s blood clear as day, even with the overall weird smell that world had. The hanyo disliked the smell a lot, Lance’s smell wasn’t made to be tarnished with blood, his own or otherwise. Keith could feel a growl trying to rip through his throat, whatever made that boy bleed would bleed twice as much.
He almost sighed in relief when he saw the boy alive and relatively well.
“Sankon Tessō!”
With his claws he opened the way by slaying the strange glob monster in half. Getting near Lance, he let Tsuna get down, who immediately hugged the blue-eyed boy.
If anyone asked, Keith was not glad the boy was ok.
“Don’t worry, Tsuna,” Lance said, trying to make the boy stop crying, “Keith will help us now.”
“Dunno about that.”
“What do you mean, mullet?” Lance soft gaze rapidly turned into a glare.
“I may help if you apologize.”
“Apologize? For what?”
“Don’t tell me you forgot!” Keith pointed accusingly at him. “You almost destroyed my back with your sit command and now you’re asking for help as if nothing happened?!”
“Oh, that! Well, I’m sorry.”
“You aren’t being sincere!”
“Just help us already, mullet dog! That thing has a fragment and I can’t fight right now, so stop whining like a kicked puppy and fight!”
“Who are you calling a kicked puppy, stupid boy?!”
Their fight was cut short when the monster’s body came together again. Lance informed Keith about the mask being the center of the creature, the half-demon taking out his sword, ready to fight despite his last fight with the Cuban. It’s not like Keith was actually planning to leave the humans to fight the demon alone. The mask did had a fragment of Jewel.
“I am the Meat Mask… centuries ago, I was carved from the tree trunk that received a fragment of the Jewel… I have been devouring people since then… I want a body… a body that won’t deteriorate quickly…”
Lance shuddered, muttering about creepy masks and stupid glass balls. Keith let a growl finally get out at seeing the boy’s fear.
“I don’t know how many people you’ve devoured until now, but you’re way too fat!”
To think all it took was a swing of the Tessaiga to end it all. The mask was gone in a flash of light, the fragment falling in front of them. Lance was quick to grab it and put in the flask with the rest of the fragments.
“Hey.” Lance turned to look at him, bluest blue eyes soft and thankful, “You okay?”
“Thank you, Keith.”
“Tch, whatever.”
If anyone asked, that was not a blush on Keith’s cheeks.
“Can I ask you one more thing?”
“Hm?”
“Take us home? I have exams to take and Tsuna has to go to school too.”
“What am I?! Your horse?!”
“Oh, c’mon, mullet dog! Just take us home before I get late!”
“No!”
“Keith!”
Tsuna could only watch as Keith begrudgingly let Lance hop on his back, the two still bickering.
“Tsuna, come on!”
“I’m coming!”

For Eevee on her Birthday!!
I hope you like this little drabble, featuring your best boys! <3 @eheartangel
And thank you @kondo-hijikata for beta-reading! :)
Shinpachi pulled a bandana from his back pocket and mopped his brow. His bare torso glistened with sweat in the afternoon sun, and he muttered a string of curses under his breath about the scorching heat. Taking a moment to relax, he surveyed his work with a critical eye; the roof was more than three-quarters of the way shingled, but it would take him the remainder of the day to finish if help didn’t arrive soon. Just as that thought occurred to him, the sound of a vehicle pulling into the drive caught his attention. Shin stood from his crouched position and moved closer to the edge of the roof. Peering down, he watched Hachiro Iba step from his small car and look around.
“Oi, Hachiro! Up here.” Shin shouted at the younger man, whose startled green eyes swept upward to the rooftop.
“Shinpachi-san! Are you up there alone?”
“Yep! Sano and the squirt were busy this morning so I’m by myself today.”
“Isn’t that a bit foolhardy? What if you fell?”
Shin raised an eyebrow and folded his arms across his chest. “Are you callin’ me a fool, Hachiro?”
Iba craned his neck upward and flashed a sheepish grin, his eyes twinkling with amusement. “Not at all! But you have to admit, it’s dangerous to be up there with no one around to call for help if you fall.”
“Fall? Me?! You must be joking. I’m more agile than a cat!” He clambered down the ladder two rungs at a time and trotted over to Iba with a grin. “What are you doing here, anyway? I know you weren’t planning on climbing up there with that busted arm.”
Iba shook his head a bit dejectedly and said, “No, I’m just here to check on progress for Toshi-san. He wants to keep Kondo-san updated himself.” He paused for a moment and then admitted sheepishly, “And Shiori wanted me to remind you that you had a date with Etsu tonight.”
“I know that! I’ll be ready in plenty of time.”
“Well, you said that the last time, too, Shinpachi-san. And I was the one who had to listen to Shiori trounce your name into the dirt for forgetting.”
Shin chuckled and threw an arm around Iba’s shoulders, careful not to jostle his broken arm. He moved toward the porch, propelling Iba along with him.
“I promise, I won’t forget. Etsu is really looking forward to tonight, and I’ll be damned if I let her down.”
Iba nodded and relaxed, his good-natured smile returning immediately.
“I’m hot as hell! How about a cold drink while I bring you up to speed on the house?” Shin asked, plopping down on one ice chest while scrounging around in another.
“Do you have anything sweet?” Iba asked, peeking into the cooler with interest.
“Yeah, I’m sure Heisuke has something in here. I don’t know how you two do it. Sweet and heat do not go together, my friend!”
Iba laughed as he reached in and grabbed a can. “What about this?” he asked, holding it up for Shin’s inspection.
“Nah, that’s kind of bitter. Let me see....” Shin reached in and dug around until he found what he was looking for, then passed it over to Iba. “This stuff is so sweet it’ll make your hair curl. Heisuke loves it.”
“Cream soda? I’ve never tried it.”
Shinpachi grabbed a sports drink and watched as Iba popped the top off his soda and took a tentative sip. His eyes lit up and he took another drink, causing Shinpachi to laugh.
“Yeah, I figured you’d like that one. So tell me, Iba. How are things with Shiori? Getting serious?”
At the mention of his girlfriend’s name, Iba smiled, a soft blush covering his cheeks.
“Shiori....is amazing!” he told Shinpachi, his eyes alight with fondness. “I still find myself staring at her sometimes, wondering why on earth she... well, you know...why she chose me.”
“Tch, none of that shit. You know you’re a good guy, so don’t go selling yourself short. Besides, I don’t see Shiori picking some loser, do you?”
Iba expelled a breath but had to agree. Shiori wouldn’t choose a loser. He shook his head and looked around at Kondo-san’s newest purchase.
“So tell me how things are coming along here. It looks like you’ve gotten quite a bit done since the last time I dropped by.”
“We only have the shingling and touch-up work to do now. Kondo-san will be able to move in next week!”
The two men shared a brief moment of amused silence as they each thought of their boss. He was a tender-hearted man, and had immediately set out to build a larger house once he learned that he had been accepted as a possible foster parent. He had wanted to ensure he had ample room for the child —or children— who came to his home.
“That’s great news! Toshi-san will be very glad to hear it. You know how much he enjoys being able to share positive things with Kondo-san.”
“Ha, yeah, though he’d never admit it. I guess he thinks we’re too blind to see that he’s just a big softie at heart, eh?”
Iba spluttered his drink. “Don’t let Toshi-san hear you say that!”
Shin laughed and slapped Iba on the back. “Don’t tell me you’re afraid of the “Demon”?”
“What? No, but I don’t like seeing him get upset all the time, either. It isn’t good for him....or us.”
They finished their drinks and then Shinpachi gave Iba brief tour of the completed house. It was a large 5 bedroom, three bath structure, with one of the largest back yards either man had ever seen. Kondo has specifically requested that when he first set out to find the perfect spot for his new home. There were already swings and slides set up, and a large sandbox in the center of the yard. Near the back fence, an area had been set up for badminton, tennis, or volleyball, and along the other side of the yard, nets had been set up for soccer or lacrosse. The only thing missing was a pool, and Kondo had been adamant that there not be one; his fear of one of his foster children drowning making him put his foot down on that one.
Iba took notes as they walked around, chatting constantly while Shin strolled beside him. Once they returned to the porch, Iba shook Shin’s hand and then headed out. Shin took out his phone and checked the time —just past three in afternoon. He looked at the sky, noting the cloudless blue with a mix of relief —no sign of rain— and loathing.
It was unbearably hot, and that finally made up Shinpachi’s mind. He would take the remainder of the day off. He could not be late for his date with Etsu, not after missing the entire thing last time. He still felt bad about that, though Etsu had been very forgiving. He grabbed his shirt and moved out to his pickup, tossing his tools into the truck bed before hopping inside. Before heading toward home, he dialed Sano’s number. He’d let those two idiots deal with the rest of the roof. He had plans with the love of his life.

Frankfurt am Main is the most populous city in the German state of Hesse. A puny enlightenment won’t hurt your brain, right? Let me accord you my advance apology if you happen to read this on the morning. It’ll get amusing real soon so make sure to keep up with me.
The impetus of this scribble is to educate you about the admirable family which insanely bewitched every Germans and seemingly those who own any social platforms as their wired bystanders. This prominent family is noteworthy because of the matter of how archetype their balance is. The owner of an oil magnate collided with the Miss Universe which also remarkably has an outstanding business endowment. Later on they promised to be a faithful partner, to unconditionally love each other through their adventures in life, together.
On 2001, they were blessed with 3 kids. Yes, not just one but 3. Everyone gone wild once they acknowledged this information. A triplets, they’ve been blessed with triplets. The Ladies and Gentlemen were stand with their biggest applause, worshiping this family even more. Claudia Rolangeline Hellstergeist, Cloude Hachiro Hellstergeist and Claude Gavriel Hellstergeist. Those are names of their kids who’s later inherit their legacy.
I, I’m Claude Gavriel Hellstergeist. Wait a minute before you turn this into a big show on internet because I haven’t ask my girlfriend permission to divulge my social media. Let me ask her real quick, I’ll be right back.
She said yes. My apology, she has all the right to be possessive because as you guys already know. I can’t help but have such an impeccable reputation both in school and also the internet. Well, my family record can’t and won’t prevent that from happening too so yeah moving on.
Me and my siblings were born and raised in Frankfurt until they were 5 years old and moved to Kobe, Japan. Growing up with silver spoon in his mouth, me and my siblings had no choice but to enrolled to the most elite school. Let me just begin from my Junior High School day (The part which I relive vividly). We enrolled to Nada Junior High. This is where my golden history was made. I discovered that I’m a basketball prodigy after all those sleepless night pondering about my proficiency. Please prevent any queries about my academic qualities. I successfully snatched the ”Most Valuable Player” and ”Youngest Player” awards once I wrecked those competitions.
Later on, our family was transferred to US, Washington DC to be exact. Me and my siblings, Claudia decided to enroll into Concordia High. This was predicted by many people online as I witnessed some of them were making a vote? Or whatever it’s called on the internet. Apparently, Concordia High would be everyone’s first choice if they’re lucky enough to maintain the bills.
Freshman year commenced. Oh, I clearly forgot to mention my one and only best friend (lmao) named Leonath. He just like another siblings of mine. It’s all started when our moms were so occupied with their works to give her childrens attention. One spring day, Leonath’s mom happened to be my mom’s business colleague. They’d left me and Leonath in a room full of toys for hours and since then we basically never separated and I’m sick of him for real. And what now? He also got accepted to Concordia High which pissing me off like hello, get a life. Well, I guess it’s not bad to have company in this new bizarre environment.
I proceed to join the basketball team. This is where all the fun started. Just like usual, I the basketball prodigy wrecked a lots of competitions and bring almost all sports awards in Concordia High. One day, Concordia High was on fire when someone plugged a massive billboard in front of the building. My name was written on it alongside my pictorial with my precious jersey, they named me "The Basketball Sweetheart" since then, everyone will recognize me as that nickname so yeah that’s how I got this nickname.
More interest was directed to me as I and Claudia were being casted by the owner of Avoir la Pêche, Bambi. The Boss Baby of Concordia High as one of her models. This one couldn’t be blamed either, who would’ve hate an identical siblings gathered in one brand?
The last one of my story will be dedicated to my girlfriend, Alysha Castellan. Long story short, I have a crush on her since the freshman year. She’s just so alluring and her energy always captivated me. No, she is not the leader of cheerleader team. She’s the math prodigy in Concordia High. Her intelligence struck me as soon as she murmurs all the stuffs I couldn’t even understand. Our day one was quite complicated. We made a promise. If I could do a three points, she’d be mine. Fortunately, I did it but there was a rumor which tested my patience out dw tho, eventually she is mine.
That’s all you have to know about me. My apology if this turned out boring but yeah, see you at lunch?

Fic excerpt, spoilers for Persona 5. Futurefic Akira/Sae.
"It is quite the view," Sae said as she turned to face him.
Some part of his brain registered that she had changed very little in the intervening years. There were fresh lines around her eyes, but she wore the same stylish, severe blazer and silver necklace and lapel pin that glittered like stars in darkness. Her hair hung loose about her shoulders. His mouth turned dry. She watched him with the half-smile and arched eyebrow of a woman who knew more than she was letting on, who like him had tried to hold onto her honor while keeping her head above water. A woman who had fought her demons—literally—and had come out victorious. A woman who was, in short, beautiful.
Akira rocked back on his heels. Beautiful. Not a word he had associated with her five years ago. She had been the enemy then, a woman with the power to condemn him to juvenile hall if he made one wrong step. Who had interrogated him after he had been beaten and drugged. Who he had fought and then helped save. Who had then saved his life. Not a woman he should be attracted to, but the sparks danced along his skin all the same. Now it was Ryuji's voice in his head. It had been so long since he had had a girlfriend. He needed to start dating again. Somehow he doubted that this was who Ryuji had in mind.
"I heard about the book deal," she continued. Her voice was different than he remembered. Nervous, almost tentative. "Children's fantasy, was it? Good for you." Her gaze flickered downward for a fraction of a second. "I was worried for a while about what those months in confinement would do to you."
"Had to be done. Shido is rotting where he belongs." Which had made the months staring at the white walls and being treated as if he were one breath away from becoming a monster any easier.
You could have avoided all that. But no, you had to be a hero.
"You needed my help?" he asked.
She relaxed, breathed a sigh of relief, and gestured for him to sit. A thick file folder set on the desk. Inside was a mug shot of a man in his thirties: slightly overweight, shabbily dressed—and with an expression of utter confusion and terror. "Hachiro Sato. Married for ten years, three children between the ages of two and six. He stabbed them to death and was found kneeling over their bodies, sobbing and with the knife still in his hand. No known motive, but the prosecutor expects to seek the death penalty. Open and shut case."
After everything he'd seen with Garo and Shido, he shouldn't be shocked in the depths of depravity that parents could inflict on their children, but his mind recoiled at the thought of a two-year-old begging her father not to kill him. "I hope he ha—” Reason overtook rage. “Wait. You wouldn't call me for an open and shut case. You wouldn't take an open and shut case.” His eyes widened. You wanted my 'special expertise.' You think Shadows are involved.”
“I do.” She flipped to another page of the dossier. "Mr. Sato was known to be an exemplary family man and philanthropist. Extensive investigation hasn't produced any evidence of antisocial behavior before this. Ordinarily, I would say he's just another sociopath whose good at hiding it, but he's been almost catatonic since then. Insofar as I've been able to talk to him, he speaks of darkness and voices and appears to have no memory of the murderers themselves. Exactly like those Goro drove insane."
Akira exhaled. The idea that someone else had the power to brewing as many lives as Goro had made him sick. "He only had that power because Yaldaboath gave it to him, and the demon seemed pretty clear that it was a game with two sides. You're telling me there some other cosmic sadist out there?" Sweat formed on his hands. There was another possibility. Goro had broken so many people without thought or care, but Shido had broken him, too. He had been Akira's friend. "Do you think Goro could be alive?"
"You have a talking cat. Anything is possible. But I don't think it's likely." Her voice softened, the same tone she had used with him so long ago when she had told him that he would have to turn himself in. "You're a kinder person than me to pity him. But then, I never was very good at being kind. But you know that too."
He swallowed. None of them like to talk about it, but there had always been an intimacy between the Phantom Thieves and their targets; seeing someone's deepest desires, fears, and sins and forcing them to feel remorse. Most of them had been such monsters that he had tried to put his time in the Palaces out of his mind and moved on. But Sae wasn't a monster; she had believed him and saved his life. So seeing the Leviathan—that tarted up reject from a fetish nightclub, seething and pulsing with envy and bitterness—stirred something within him, just like Yuki and Futaba's shadows had stirred something within him, just as Yuki and Futaba's shadows had stirred something within him. His hand snaked out to cover hers. "Everybody's got a dark side. You, me. Everybody. It's choosing to do the right thing that matters.”
They both looked down. Her thumb peeked out from under his palm. Violet. The only part of her that was anything other than staid and respectable. Her skin was pale and smooth and warm like a Café le Blanc special. You could curl up to warmth like that. How long had it been since he had even held hands with anyone other than one of his friends? Three or four years since he and Hifumi had snuck off during breaks in her tournaments? To make out, sure, but sometimes just to take a walk. Something private, just for the two of them?
To remember that he had someone.
